Joseph Ober, of Dixonville, died after a prolonged illness at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leslie Bowser, on Monday afternoon, of last week. He was aged eighty years. Mr. Ober was very well known throughout this county and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by three daughters and four sons: Mrs. Joseph Nicholson, of Purchase Line, Mrs. Leslie Bowser, of Kittanning; Mrs. Benjamin Cook, of Owassa, Mich.; S.D. and A.L., of Corunna, Ind., and Martin and David, of Dixonville. Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church in Taylorsville on Thursday afternoon, with interment in the Taylorsville cemetery. _____________________________________________________
