Hi I am looking for any info on Margaret and hopefully maybe a picture. Here is what I know: Margaret was b 14 April 1812 Ireland daughter of Samuel Devlin and ________, m James McNutt Jr 29 Feb 1833. JAmes Jr is the son of James McNutt & Sally Armitage who lived in Brushvalley. He was born 25 Jul 1806 and died 28 Jul 1843, Margaret was his second wife. After he died Margaret married John Campbell Hemphill 26 Sept 1844. He died 21 Oct 1864. I find Margaret living with her sister in the census records after his death at Armagh, Indiana Co Pa. I also know that at one time she may have lived in Saltsburg as some of her children died there. Her daughter Martha Frances Hemphill b 12 Sept 1857 m ____________ Mitchell and lived at New Florence Pa. I can not make out her husbands first name. These records were taken from the handwritten notes of J.E. McNutt on letter head paper from his tin shop in Confluence Pa. In his notes he writes some info came from a family bible belonging to Samuel Asbury McNutt. We would also love to locate this cherished item as well if for nothing else but to copy the pages for our own records. If any one can help on this it would be greatly appreciated.
