Pittsburgh. A son of Paul and Lucy Baker DePetris, he was born Aug. 2 1912 in Clarksburg. W. Va. Mr. DePetris was a member of BPOE No. 407 and LOOM Lodge 187, both of Blairsville. He was a retired supervisor from Torrance State Hospital and also worked as a part time bartender at the Moose Club in Blairsville. Surviving are a son Richard A.. Concord, Calif; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs, Hazel Buch, Clarksburg. W. Va.; Mrs. Marie Riddle. Lumberport, W. Va.; a half-sister, Sally Johnston, Blairsville. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Carl. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Bowser-Askew Funeral Home, Homer City, where the Rosary will be recited at 7;30 p.m. Wednesday. Prayer Service will be offered at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lucernemines. with Msgr. H.A. Podowski, the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Graceton. LOOM will conduct services at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
