Fleming. Francis Fleming, a well-known resident of Lovejoy, died in the hospital at Spangler January 8. The deceased who suffered from an appendical abscess, was admitted to the hospital the week previous. An operation was performed to afford the patient temporary relief, but the disease was too far advanced to save his life. Mr. Fleming, who was aged 55 years, six months and 17 days, Is survived by 11 children, Including six sons and a daughter residing at home, and the following: Mrs. Grant Treese, of Pine Flats; Mrs. Thomas Henry, of Starford; Mrs. Elmer Stewart, of East Run, and Mrs. Bert Sherry, of Altoona. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Margaret F. Cain, of Buffalo, and a brother, Obadlah Fleming, of Ebensburg. The funeral services were conducted In the Lutheran church at Cookport by Rev. W. J.
