In my records, I have his name as Jean Brontell who was born in Lorraine, France on August 31, 1783. I also have on record that he fought under the command of Napoleon from 1797 to 1801. Later, he left France to come to America. His ship was wrecked four miles off the shore. With good swimming he reached the shore. He then met Kezia, a member of the Lenne- Lainappe Native American tribe.  They had six children.  My great, great, great grandfather's name was Isaac Anderson White and was born in 1818. I don't know if our information is the same or not. If you have anything else to add to this I would love to learn about it. Thanks for your time!
