Hi Elizabeth and Gary, Just dug out my dad's discharge, it says in the first box, under Arm or Service, AAF (Army Air Force). In the next box to the right it is written under Component, USA. probably US Army. Dad always said he was in the air corps...the discharge was written 6Jan46. Bill
