A rumor was also circulated that both men were supposed to have been killed in a drunken fight, near Vandergrift, and that their bodies had been thrown into the Kiskiminetas river to hide the crime. There is no truth in either report as Mr. Fleming is now at his home in Cherryhill township and McCoy is living and well. An Ill Practice Must Be Stopped Hitching horses to shade trees is a violation of the borough ordinance, and those who persist in the practice are liable to a fine of five dollars for each offense. Many complaints have been made this summer to Burgess M. B. Kline, who is going to punish the offenders hereafter in every case.
