James L. Reed, aged 70 years, a former well known business man of the county and prominent in county affairs, died suddenly at his home in Kenwood Sabbath morning. The funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock, Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in the Manor cemetery. He was born in Westmoreland county and was married to Caroline Dick in 1872 and made his home at Kenwood. Besides his wife he leaves these children: Earl D., of Clymer, Ross, and Mrs. O.U. Householder and Mrs. W.N. Templeton, of Clymer. ________________________________________________
