WRAY. John W. Wray died at his home, in Homer City, on Friday morning, at 10 o’clock, aged 50 years. The cause of his death was cancer, he having suffered from the disease for several years. He underwent an operation in Mercy hospital, Pittsburg, three weeks ago but grew gradually worse. Mr. Wray was proprietor of the Central House in Indiana for a number of years, preceding his moving to Homer City. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Dwight, at home; Maud, a teacher in the Johnstown schools, and Walter, of McKeesport. The funeral services were held at the Wray home Sabbath afternoon, at 1 o’clock, by Rev. Morse, D.D., pastor of the Homer City Presbyterian church, assisted by Rev. A.J. Furman, D.D., pastor of the Homer City Baptist church, and interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. ____________________________________________________
