DEEMER. James K. Deemer, a former resident of this place, but who had resided in Vandergrift, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tisha Kime, of Eleventh and Oak streets, on Saturday, from general debility. Mr. Deemer was born in Apollo in 1830. He was a soldier in the Civil War, having served in the 105th and 102nd Regiments, Pennsylvania Volunteers. Mr. Deemer is survived by two sons and four daughters, as follows: Harry Deemer and Mrs. Kime, of town; W.C. and Mrs. Frank Daugherty, of Vandergrift; Mrs. W.G. Bracken, of Tarentum, and Mrs. D.B. Roof, of Wheeling, W.Va. Funeral services were held at the home of his daughter yesterday afternoon, at 1 o’clock, and interment followed in Greenwood cemetery. _____________________________________
