Ray, Would this be the father of a Kerr or Carr married to Betsey McQuiston (b. 1767 in Cumberland Co. PA and died in Cincinnati)? She was the daughter of James McQuiston (McCuiston) and Margaret Trindle, who moved to Derry Twp, Westmoreland Co.. James had (my ancestor) William McQuiston, Robert, Betsey, Sarah "Jean/Janet", Mary "Polly", John, James, Alexander and David McQuiston. I have nothing on Betsy (no descendants), just that she married a John Kerr or Carr. (source . Family tree of Doug McCuiston) . The age/location would be correct to be Betsy's husband' or husband's family. Barb I'm looking or a John Kerr. The John Kerr I already have documented is a John Kerr Jun. as isted in Westmoreland land records in 1789. I know they had the land in 1783 hen they got it back from John Hopkin. They were probably there in the late 760's or early 1770's.
