    3. You may try looking in the courthouse in the Clerk of Courts office. There may possibly be a Coroner's report. Depending on the time period and type of death, there may be only very basic information or there may be an inquiry or inquestm - or nothing filed at all. Sometimes it's worth a shot. My office at the Prothonotary & Clerk of Courts is prococ@countyofindiana.org or call 724/465-3886. We don't charge a search fee. We charge a base fee of $1.00 and.25 per copy. Most coroner's reports are four pages of copy.
