I have a Margaret Hart (b. 6 April 1838, died 13 March 1916 in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania) who married my gr-gr-grandfather Thomas W. Griffith (b. 2 Jan 1830 in Buffington, Bedford County, PA, died 17 Dec 1904 in Homewood, Allegheny County, PA). They were married 8 Jan 1880 in Seward, Westmoreland County, PA. They had a daughter Amanda Belle Griffith (b. 20 Jul 1881 in East Wheatfield Twp, Indiana County, PA, died 21 Jan 1966 in Denver, Colorado). Amanda married Louis Hurst Jacobs and they had these children: Margaret, Mary and Marian Jacobs. This was Thomas' 2nd marriage. His first wife was Margaret Keltz (b. 28 Sep 1832 in Ligonier Twp, Westmoreland County, PA, d. 11 Nov 1878 in East Wheatfield Twp, Indiana County, PA). She was the daughter of George and Mary (Shadron) Keltz. I believe Margaret Hart was previously married also. From info that I have found I believe my Margaret Hart was a sister to Mella, Maria and Alexander N. Hart. This Alexander Hart is the one you mention in your Roostweb Message posting. He was with Co. H, 12 th Pennsylvania Reserves (41 st Regiment) in the Civil War. I have some CW records on him. I am interested in this because my Great great grandfather's brother John P. Griffith was with Co. H, 12 PA Reserves too. John was killed at the Battle of Fredericksburg. I have his military record. They both were mustered in at the same time. Another relative was with Co. H, 12th Reserve. His name was John C. Lardin who married Priscilla Griffith. Priscilla was a sister of John P. Griffith and my gr-gr- grandfather Thomas Griffith. I was wondering what info you had and if you were willing to share information with me. I am hoping that your A. N. Hart and my Alexander N. Hart are the same person. Let me know.
