This is a bit of a puzzle as the picture has written on it: William A. Helman . William died at 17. He was born in 1858 and died in 1875. The photo also says on the back: "Negatives Preserved" and "Dealer in Frames and Mouldings" Perhaps someone had another picture made from a negative. I also have a photo stating on the back " B. B. Tiffany Photographer and dealer in All kinds of Pictures and Frames, So. Vine Street, Indiana, PA" This picture has no date and no name -- it might be Williams's mother, but that is just a guess. I'd like to know when B.B. Tiffany was in business - It might help determine the identity of the woman on the picture.
