If you have a rough idea where the graves are, you might be able to "probe" for them using a steel rod. But, since the graves are probably over 50 years old, you'll most likely not find anything but dirt. The phrase "Ashes to Ashes, Dust to dust" applies very well here. If you are wanting to put up a headstone, check with the church to see if one of their elders might know the exact location. Otherwise, just put one up in the general area. Better something than nothing. Your grandparents won't mind if you are off by a foot or two.
