William Perry Brady, 1766-1843, was the son of John and Mary Quigley Brady, & grandson of Hugh and Hannah. Also brother to Samuel Brady. There is a sketch of his life in Stephenson vol. IV pp 74-75. In the Brady Annals there is mention of his extensive land purchases and his being a surveyor. The "Perry" was taken from William Perry, who raised him following his mother's death in 1783, and gave him training as a surveyor. Ruth
