    3. Martha, Ella was daughter of Isaac RAGER & Amanda B. AMAWALT: TILLEY - Mrs. Ella C., 85, 1290 Agnes Ave., died at 7 p.m. Oct. 31, 1970, at Cherry Hill Hospital, Cherry Hill, N.J. Born March 7, 1885 in Conemaugh, daughter of Isaac and Amanda (Amawalt) Rager. Preceded in death by husband, Charles W.; parents; and son Wayne. Survived by these children: Grace, Cherry Hill, N.J.; Dr. Harvey C., 348 Locust St.; and Walter, 1400 Brier Ave.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. May Weaver, 1290 Agnes Ave. Member of Roxbury United Methodist Church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Walter Krause. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Tribune Democrat 2 November 1970 I don't have a death date for Isaac but believe he was son of George R. RAGER and Catherine SHAFFER: George R. Rager, one of the oldest known citizens of Conemaugh Township died at his home, Nov. 24, 1904. Born in Jackson Township some 82 years ago and was a farmer and also a railroader and laborer. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Jacob Rager of Conemaugh; Isaac Rager of Greensburg; Mary Almeda, wife of L.D. Stull of Richland Twp; Emma Jane, wife of Grant Glass of Altoona and Phillip, the youngest son who left home some twelve years ago and has not been heard from since. Two brothers and one sister also survive him. Burial Headrick Cemetery. (Cited as being from the Weekly Tribune, Nov. 1904) George is thought to be a grandson of Johann Michael through Jacob and Mary. I haven't seen proof of this but have seen George placed her by a couple of researchers. Jacob died in 1839 according to Al Coulter's data on WorldConnect. Probate.
