Miss Stiffler was a daughter of William and Margaret (Douglas) Stiffler and was born August 27, 1869. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard Stiffler. Surviving are these brothers and sister: James C. Stiffler, Bolivar; Jay Stiffler, Cherry Tree; Mrs. Frank McNulty, Kinport, and Lemuel Stiffler, at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Stiffler home. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery here under the direction of the Rairigh Funeral Home of Hillsdale. _____________________________________________ Indiana, PA: Gazette, issue of Friday, 15 November 1940 STIFFLER--On Tuesday, November 12, in her home near Cherry Tree, Miss Amanda Cora Stiffler, aged 71 years. Born August 27, 1869, she was a daughter of William and Margaret (Douglass) Stiffler. She leaves these brothers and sisters: James C. Stiffler of Bolivar; Jay Stiffler of Cherry Tree; Mrs. Frank McAnulty, of Kinport and Lemuel Stiffler with whom she made her home.
