Bruce H. Findley, 20; second column pertains to Staff Sgt. Lloyd I. Naugle Jr.] Staff Sgt. Lloyd I. Naugle Jr., 27, was wounded in action in France on June 13 and died the following day, the War Department has advised his parents, L.I. and Eva (Ressler) Naugle of Cramer. The soldier began his military service on Jan. 22, 1941, and trained at Ft. Sam Houston, Tex.; Ft. Benning, Ga., and Camp McCoy, Wis., before his assignment to overseas duty last September. He was first stationed in Northern Ireland and ten sent to England to take part in the assault upon the Normandy Coast. Sgt. Naugle graduated from Armagh High School in 1935. He was born in Cramer on Mar. 13, 1917. The soldier was a member of the Cramer Methodist Church, where memorial services were held for him last week. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, George Naugle, Coopersdale, and five sisters--Mrs. Virgil Wadsworth, Mrs. Joseph Griffith and Mrs. William East, Cramer; Mrs. Sam Satryan, New Florence, and Mrs. Harry Decker, Pittsburgh. ________________________________________________________ Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
