Kirkland, 86, of Blairsville, RD 2 died Saturday February 5, 1966 at his late home. A Son of James and Emma Dodson Kirkland, he was born May 2, 1879 in Derry Township, Westmoreland County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie Shettler Kirkland in 1962. Mr. Kirkland was a retired farmer. Survivors include three sons: Charles and Paul, both of Blairsville, R. D. 2 and Leonard of Clarksburg RD 2; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two sisters; Mrs. Maude Suman, Blairsville, and Mrs Nellie Rosborough of Donora. Friends are being received at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Blairsville, where funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday Rev William P Wood, officiating .
