Is there anyone searching the surname Bates from Grant Twp. Indiana Co. ? I am particularly interested in a Susannah Bates. I think she married John Tozer/Tozier. Susanna was born abt 1820. I have found her in 1880 census age 60 living with her son Leonard Bates Tozer. Would appreciate hearing from a Bates descendant. Sue
