I have a scan of the 1817 Indiana County Whiteside map that the PA State Archives made for me. The map does not show land owners, but does show a few of the blockhouse/fort locations. The map is quite a bit smaller than the 1856 map, but the file size is still very large - about 50 MB. The lettering is quite small and if the file is reduced much in size, it probably won't be readable. You wouldn't want to download it without a cable modem. A good scan of the 1856 map would have a much larger file size. To distribute the maps, they will probably need to be reprinted or put on CD. Ken McCrea Stevens, PA --=======D17591D=======--
