I am interested in sharing info regarding the following Kelly Family. My gg grandmother was a Kelly born in Indiana Co., PA in 1856. William D. Kelly was born in PA approx. 1818, his father born in Ireland, his mother born in PA. He married Mary Ann ____ born in PA approx. 1814, her father born in PA, her mother born in PA. Wm D. Kelly was a shoemaker in the 1860 PA Census, the 1870 PA Census and the 1880 IOWA Census. Wm. D. and Mary Ann Kelly had children names of: John (called Nelson) in the 1870 PA Census born PA approx. 1844. William born PA approx. 1849. James born PA approx. 1852 Malisa "Jane" born Indiana Co., PA in 1856. In the 1860 PA Census the Wm. and Mary Ann Kelly family, with all 4 children, are shown as living in Logan Twp., Blair Co., PA. In the 1870 PA Census the Wm. and Mary Ann Kelly family, minus son William, are shown as living in Borrough Twp., (Vanport) Beaver Co., PA. In the 1880 IOWA Census, Wm. and Mary Ann Kelly, with no children, are shown as living in Princeton, Leclair Twp., Scott Co., IA. One of the sons must have had a daughter, as there is a 6 year old Ella May Kelly born PA living in Iowa in the census with Wm and Mary Kelly as their granddaughter. Their daughter Jane Kelly was my gg grandmother. Jane Kelly married Miller L. McCreary of Hillsville, Mahoning Twp., Lawrence Co., PA. Jane Kelly McCreary died in July 1915 in New Castle, PA. Among others, she left a brother, Mr. J. F. Kelly, of Altoona, PA. I have lots of McCreary family history to share with any interested parties. Shari McCreary Price
