    3. Phil Zorich, who is the Special Collections Librarian where the Peelor map is housed, has had problems in making the map available in a usable format. I have discussed this with him a number of times. He has a glass negative, but the size of the map makes it difficult to reproduce. He can be contacted, I believe, via the IUP Library website. 3. I am not sure how he is trying to reproduce it. I took a couple of Maps that a friend had (and I wanted copies)(nearly 3 feet by 2 feet) to a shop in Clarion that made posters and that sort of thing and they made an exact reproduction for me. (Actually Shipenville, just outside Clarion). It cost a little but then it was in color that I wanted to preserve. Black and White (or Grayscale) might make it feasible. . . . ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sonya M Barclay" <sbarclay@andrew.cmu.edu> To: <PAINDIAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 18, 2004 8:34 PM Subject: Re: [INDIANA] 1856 Peelor Map > > Phil Zorich, who is the Special Collections Librarian where the Peelor map > is housed, has had problems in making the map available in a usable > format. 3. The Historical & Genealogical Society has been interested in having a copy for some time but ditto on the frustration Sonya mentions. I believe the state library may have a copy too.
