Buterbaugh's store to Taylorsville, commencing at the crossroads on land of Josiah Gibson and ending where line of land of Samuel Gibson crosses said road near the coal bank of Mrs. McKean. ---- Indiana County Gazette, March 21, 1905 Josiah Gibson, a well-known citizen of Cherryhill township, died on Sunday, March 12, aged 81 years. His death was due to an attack of la grippe, and he had been sick but a week. Mr. Gibson formerly resided near Taylorsville. He is survived by his wife and the following children: E. S. Gibson and Mrs. F. D. Donahue, of Taylorsville; James Gibson, of Ebensburg; Mrs. James N. Houk, of Onberg; Mrs. Linus Buterbaugh, of Lovejoy, and Joshua Gibson, at home. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. J. Sproull, pastor of the Taylorsville Presbyterian church.
