John Patterson- farmer Joseph Patterson - farmer Thomas Patterson - farmer Samuel Patterson - farmer Archibald Patterson - farmer William Patterson - farmer Benjamin Stevens - farmer Samuel Stevens - farmer Shadrick(Shedrick) Stevens - farmer Robert Wier(Weir) - farmer I believe my GGGGrandfather Joseph Patterson b. 3/19/1779 was related to the Pattersons listed above. He married Sarah Stevens(Stephens) and the Wiers have married into the Patterson family several times back in the 1750 - 1850 time frame. I don't think it coincidental that all these names just happen to appear together. Joseph was of Scotch/Irish descent. Was married by 1812 and living in Covington, Campbell Co. Ky. My brother had his dna tested and I would be interested in hearing from any Patterson who has also tested.
