Mr. Prebish was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic church, Homer City. He was retired coal miner and belonged to UMWA Local 1619 Graceton. Mr. And Mrs. Stephen Prebish had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Jan 29, 1973. Surviving are his widow. Mrs. Anna Kundla Prebish; two sons; Stephen J. North Apollo; Joseph Edward, Homer City RD 2; three daughters; Mrs. Lloyd (Ann) Hubbert II, Graceton; Mrs. Douglas (Betty) Barker, Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. John (Barbara) Matty, Aultman; 14 grandchildren: four great grandchildren; four sisters; Mrs. Sue Kerns, and Miss Effie Duffalo, both of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Kate Lucon, Derry: Mrs. Paul (Ann) Kelly, Blairsville; a brother, John Duffalo, Derry. Friends are being received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, where parastas services will be held today at 7:30 p.m. a. Blessing service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Requiem Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Homer City, with the Rev Fr Regis Dusecina the celebrant.
