She moved with her parents to Huntingdon county, near Hollidaysburg, when about 10 years of age and was married to Samuel Ferrier, now deceased in 1827. They moved to Indiana county, Brushvalley township, about 1838, where they lived about six years and then moved to the old home where she died. She was a member of the United Brethren church and lived a consistent Christian life. She was the mother of three sons, two of whom, Samuel and Wesley, are still living at home. Her remains were interred in Greenwood cemetery Sunday, September 25, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. D. M. Kinter, of Indiana. Her life was a long and active one and she met death calmly and peacefully, "and was gathered unto her people, being old and full of days:" and her sons Samuel and Wesley bu! ried her. Another obit from an unknown newspaper has the same info except I states she only has 2 sons Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
