He was a veteran of the Civil War, having served as a member of Co. F. 55 Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Penn Run. Surviving hm are his wife Mrs. Amanda Lockard Lydick, and these children; Mrs. John C. Coy, of Blairsville; Mrs. H. D Snyder of Petersburg, O.; No?h L., of Vandergrift; and Mrs. J. N. Stewart, of Penn Run. The funeral services were held at the Lydick home yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock by the Rev William J. Sproull.
