Lowman's death. Can you tell me where you found him in 1850? My notes on Elizabeth McFarland's parents match your own. I have her 5 siblings & 6 half-siblings (her step mother was Catherine Lewis (abt 1795-1828). I didn't know about her infant son Robt M., so thanks for that tidbit as well.
