She was a daughter of Daniel H. and Susannah Buterbaugh Ruffner and was born February 16th, 1856 in Rayne township. Mrs. McDurmitt was the widow of James M. McDurmitt, who died in 1900. She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Emory S. Williams, Vandergrift; Mrs. Maude Taleos, Mineral Ridge, Ohio; Mrs. Clara Hand, Newport, Ky., and Mrs. Gertrude Shuster, Lake Milton, Ohio. Eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three greatgreat-grandchildren also survive. The deceased was a sister of Mrs.Amanda J. Brown, Indiana and Mrs.Hulda Bryan of Home, Pa. She was a member of the Ruffner church near Tanoma and lived her entire life in Rayne township. Friends will be received in Robinson's 36 N. 7th St., after 7:00 o'clock this evening and from 10:00 to 12:00 a. m. Friday and from 4:30 to 10:00 Friday evening. Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Ruffner church. Interment in the Ruffner cemetery. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
