His death was caused by cancer of the stomach. He ws born in this county and located in Bolivar in 1889. He is survived by his wife and the following children; William, Charles, Rose and Virgie McDermott and Mrs. Thomas Forsythe, all of Bolivar. His mother, five brothers and two sisters also survive. the interment was made in westview cemtery on Thursday.
