She married Samuel Alonzo Stuchell around 1887. Their son (my great-grandfather) Alvie Abraham Stuchell, was born on 18 Feb 1888. Her last child, Laura Cora, was born in 1900. Dora then died around 1903. Any information about her parentage and origins would be wonderful, though pictures of her or her children would also be very welcome. She seems to be quite a mystery! His wife Gertrude was mentioned, as Mrs. James Murray in several newspaper items in 1929 and 1930. In September 1930 Gertrude entered nursing school at the Indiana Hospital. But now I guess we know why they went to Indian, PA, from Germany, there must have been someone there they were related to. My husbands family came to Indiana, PA in 1856 and settled there. We know where Godfrey (Gottfried) Beck is buried but we cannot find the rest of his family. One of his sons ( Frederick H. / Henry Frederick Beck is my husbands great grandfather and he came to Pittsburgh. But I'm trying to find Godfrey's wife and children now. His wife's name was Christiane, children: Robert, Henry, Elizabeth, Clara. Clara also came to Pittsburgh, Robert stayed in Indiana County we think and we have no idea where Elizabeth got to, we assume she married and with the name change we don't know where to look. Another son went to Michigan from what we have found. Anyway, this is just info on another Beck family, probably not related to you but I thought I would let you know someone did look at your site.
