    3. You may try looking in the courthouse in the Clerk of Courts office. There may possibly be a Coroner's report. Depending on the time period and type of death, there may be only very basic information or there may be an inquiry or inquestm - or nothing filed at all. Sometimes it's worth a shot. My office at the Prothonotary & Clerk of Courts is prococ@countyofindiana.org or call 724/465-3886. We don't charge a search fee. We charge a base fee of $1.00 and.25 per copy. Most coroner's reports are four pages of copy. 1. Re: [INDIANA] Death Record for 1890-1891
    2. Generally in Indiana County and a lot of PA you will not be able to obtain a death record for this time. Death records are only available for 1852-1854, 1893-1905/6 in the courthouse and after 1906, inclusive, at New Castle, PA unless they died in one of the three largest cities, then it would be found there.

    1. Naturalization Process
    2. Does anyone know what the naturalization process was in the mid-1920s for Indiana County residents who were becoming American citizens? I know they had to fill out a petition for naturalization .... but what happened when they finally became citizens? Was there a ceremony? Was it individualized or did they have a group ceremony? Was it done at the court house or elsewhere? Thanks for any informaiton you can provide.

The widow of Jones is sick at the present time and is in a condition of great weakness. In a number of families three and four have been sick. It is thought the trouble originated in the water of a certain well. Nearly all the familes afflicted have been using this water. The water is clear, cold and sparkling but it seems to have death in it. No action has been taken prohibiting the population from giing to this source for their water supply, bnt it is thought it will be necessary to do so before the typhoid can be driven from the community.

    3. I have found the name of Robert and William Wolf in the Indiana Newspapers. Even found the name Wolf at a Coy party. Coy would be family of Bartlebaugh by marriage of Jennie Bartlebaugh to Albert Coy. The name Florann is unusual and would love to find who she married as well as her sister Priscilla. This is a whole new family opening up in the Bartlebaugh line. Elaine ----- Original Message ----- From: E Schenk To: PAINDIAN-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, July 15, 2004 11:39 PM Subject: Andrew Wolf wife Elizabeth Any one researching the Wolf family? I just found what I think could be a daughter of Isaiah and Elizabeth Conner Bartlebaugh. If so, this is the first girl child we have been able to find married in the first family of Isaiah Bartlebaugh. Elizabeth and Andrew Wolf's children are name on the 1880 census as Florann 13, Priscilla 9, William 7 and Robert 3. Up to now we only knew that a EE Bartlebaugh married A. Wolf. The age on the 1880 census gives age of Elizabeth as 30 years old and Elizabeth daughter of Isaiah was born Oct. 1849. Elaine
