Daisy, I have an Elizabeth Stockdale md to an Augustus Stear/Steer (spelled whichever way you want) in Armstrong Co and then they lived near or in Taylorsville, Indiana Co. then she died and he is back in Armstrong Co. Also I have a George Adams married to a Zebiah Stear/Steer (I think that was her name). Her family is on familysearch.org (just didn't have anything on him but I found them). The deceased was in her seventy-ninth year, having been born on June 15, 1827, near Broad Top, Huntingdon county. Shortly after her marriage to Thomas Anderson they came westward and settled a farm not far from Cherrytree, this county. There Mr. Anderson died forty-one years ago. Some time later his widow married John Fisher, who has been dead for eighteen years. About nine years ago the deceased went to Johnstown to live.
