    2. Hi Bob; Saw your post about Henry Kinter so I thought I'd post this one. My great-grandmother Margaret Pearl Rager Plummer Wilson was the child of William A. Rager and Mary Ann Mears B. ca 1850 of Derry, Westmoreland County. Mary Ann's parents were Joseph Mears and Margaret Kinter, no dates on either one. Family history says that Margaret Kinter was from Indiana County. I'd love to find something about her. Jan Thomas

I think we can help each other, but before I write a whole bunch I need to make sure I am on the same page with you. I have a Ruth Elizabeth Clawson born abt 1806 who married Benoni Williams and I wonder if she is the daughter of Cornelius Clawson and your Elizabeth States. I have her parents as Cornelius Clawson and Elizabeth. A lot of what I have is conjecture putting things together from what sources I found and not a lot of proof, but eventually I get them, but a lot of work so lets work together. If we are on the same page I think I have the names of 8 of the children and one boy and one gilr missing as I thought there were ten, but lets see if we are correct. Also what do you know about this Ruth Elizabeth States and who her family was.

I donot know the names of the other kids.In Matthias'es obituary there was reference to 6 brothers and 4 sisters. The reason I ask is my GR. GR. Grandmother was Anna Maria Clawson born April 16, 1828 in Punxsutawney, Pa and Married David Bear there in 1842 to 1844. I also think I found her sister Catherine born June 1,1825 there. Catherine also married Samuel Bear my GR. Gr. Grandpa's brother. And brother Samuel born June 15, 1834 and married Mary ? I think one of these Cornelius Clawson son's might be there Dad I just don't know which one. They girls stayed in Punxsutawney, Pa till after there first boys were born. My Gr. Uncle was John WesleyBear born 1846. And Catherine's named her son David Bear born 1845 both born in that town. But at least both families left Punx. about 1847 because there next kids are born in Ohio. I thought maybe there parents died is why they moved? I was just wandering if you might be able to help me.
