She doesnt' remember much. Her father was Charles Blatt and he had married an Ella Unger or Ella May (Mae) Unger. She doesn't remember much beyond that. She is one of 22 children and her parents died when she was younger. Charles, I think, was born 1885? Hard to tell. My grandmother is June Blatt and she had a number of siblings. Any insight? She said they have always lived in PA.

    3. If they went to Indiana Normal, it had to have been after 1875, since that's when the school opened. There are record books in the special collections/archives in the IUP Library. Not sure if they do lookups or not. Let me know if you need help with it and I'll try to work it in over holiday break. -Sonya Barclay On Tue, 16 Nov 2004 bonniemacdougall@hotmail.com wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Black, Wilson, Hardy, Brewster, Nixon > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UaB.2ACE/3352 > > Message Board Post: > > I have a letter that says Mary Black Brewster, Susan Black Nixon and Anna Black Hardy attended Indiana Normal School as young women around 1870-1880. Hello everyone, I have updated both the Indiana County Gen Web Site and the Indiana County Archives Site. You will see some changes to the Archives as I have been redoing the pages as I have time and new information to add to them, I am deleting one of the columns called filename as I don't feel we need information repeated since I took over the Archives I have changed all the links so that they match the names of the people, places and things that they are to correspond to, so that it is easier to keep track of what we have in information on the site. We have a new category on the Archives for Veterans information and the Census information has expanded as we have received some actual census transcripts for one of the townships in Indiana County, there have been some obits added also. If anyone is wondering about Treasures of the Past it is back up and I hope working as I haven't had a chance to check out the links on the site as uploading it was a major task, when the site went down I was in the middle of an update and I have not finished that update as of yet, but will be working on it and will let you know when it is finished and what is new on the site. Treasures also has a new e-mail address as we lost all e-mail that had been sent prior to August 23rd. The links and e-mail addresses for these web sites are below. Have a nice weekend! 2. In case you didn't notice, the obits ARE posted to the Indiana Co., PA Message Boards. The owner of this list has graciously (IMHO) "gatewayed" the message boards posts to the list in an effort to keep folks updated as to what is on those Boards. Thanks Michael & all who post anything to the List or the Boards. Thanks, Sally Huntley
