3. There seems to be Amish buying land outside of Homer City. When visiting my brother, we drove around the Homer City area and he showed me some of their farms. They had outdoor wood furniture for sale on the front lawn. He said they were buying all the land that was for sale. 2. There are also some Mennonite families living in and around the Hillsdale area, off Route 286. I also believe there was a Mennonite market on Route 286 between Clymer and Indiana.

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Is there any way to figure this out? All the information seems to fit--(I think this is a typo for Parson, Lucinda) Parron, Lucinda w f 50y m Jefferson Co house keeper 18 Jul. 1893 E Mahoning Twp heart disease 1/2 h Richmond 20 Jul. 1893 6 Dec. 1893 The categories are: name of deceased, color, sex, age, father, mother, married or single, place born, occupation, date of death, place died, cause of death, duration, place of burial, date of burial, and date of record. I haven't found any newspaper articles yet to verify that it is MY Lucinda Parson. However, she is from East Mahoning, disappears somehow, and then her husband gets a marriage license on May 14th, 1895 (published in the newspaper "The Indiana Messenger" on the 22nd). MY Lucinda Parson lived in East Mahoning Township, wife of John Parson, was born about 1843, and John remarried in 1895. So her dying in 1893 would be highly possible. How could I check to see that the Parron spelling is just a typo of Parson? Below I have just a brief descendants list for reference. My ancestor is Jacob Earl Parson and John Parson is his father. He and his family all attended Olivet Presbyterian Church, which is also the location of the Old Olivet presbyterian cemetary. The church is no longer there because I believe it merged with Long Run Presbyterian in the mid 1800's. I have been to the cemetary and logged and took pictures of all of the Shirley family headstones there. The cemetary is in horrible disrepair. It is very possible that Robert and Susan are buried there, but headstones no longer exist. I have long hoped that someone would do some restoration. I have also been to the homestead location of Robert Shirley. I was taken there 2 years ago by Clair Shirley of Sheloctah, a ggg grandson of Robert, gg Joseph , Grandfather Joseph B. and father,Stewart. Clair has since died. The homestead is no longer there. It was in a beautiful wooded ravine location. I am related through ggg Joseph, gg Joseph B., g Clarence and father John Shirley.
