I have 3 land transactions that I thought belonged to my William P(reston) Brady, but in closer study I find that they are a William Perry Brady who had a wife named Jane and that they were living in Northumberland Co., Point Township, July 5, 1804. The land is in Indiana Co. In 1804 he sold the land to Jonathan Ayers. In 1793 Wm Perry Brady, resident of Northumberland Co, sold land he had bought at a public auction to John Brady, late Lieutenant in the United States Army. All these deeds were found in Indiana Co. PA. Does anyone know who this William Perry Brady is? Does he belong to the Hugh Brady and Hannah McCormick family? It looks to me that he might not go with that family, but would like to clear him up. I found another William Perry Brady in Civil War pension files. This William P. Brady was born in Ohio Co. Virginia and died in Missouri and it looks like he came down through John Brady son of Hugh and Hannah. I know this is kind of rambling, but this really confused my Brady family I was working on to connect with the Brewers. Thanks. I will look into this and see if His name was Henry W. Pruner. I do know from relatives that Bert's dad worked for the railroad in PA.
