It looks like William Williamson was the son of Eli & Jane Williamson. Eli and Jane were from England and are found in Wyoming Co., NY in 1860 and in Buffalo NY in 1870 & 1880. So I do not see an obvious connectin to Indiana County and the Flemings. As far as Maggie goes, her father Bartholomew died in 1865. She is living with her mother Eliza and brother Frank in 1870. By 1880 Frank is married and living next to his brother Obediah. I don't see Eliza and Maggie in Green Twp. in 1880. They may be both working as servants in the Alex Watson home in Bellvue, Allegheny Co., PA. Alex was a lawyer. There is an Eliza Fleming, 64 and Marguerite Fleming, 27 listed as servants with that family. Alex Watson's wife is Mary W., 41 in 1880. Maggie had an older sister named Mary born abt 1836. I wonder if Alex's wife is Maggie's sister. That would explain how Eliza and Maggied may end up in Bellvue. The problem is that Mary Fleming is listed as age 14 in the 1850 census and Mary, Alex's wife, is consistantly listed as born in 1839 in the 1860-1880 census. As for Dr. William H. Cain. So far I don't know where he came from. He was in Cookport in 1886 when he wed Maggie. He was born about 1834. Being a doctor he could have be from anywhere. especially since he ended up in Colorado when I died. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
