Then she disappears until 1880 when she marries William Engle. Any idea who her parents are. My guess is Hugh Cameron and Mariam Graham. Anyone have confirmation of that? 1. [PAINDIAN] Fw: obit LOWMAN George Scott--LOWMAN Edwin H.
    2. A kind lady did this look up for me thanks again Pam P :) Indiana Evening Gazette Wed. Aug. 17, 1921 Obit BLAIRSVILLE RESIDENT DEAD George Scott Lowman, 69 Years Old. Succumbed Tuesday Afternoon Following Long Period of Ill-Health. BURIAL THURSDAY George Scott Lowman of Blairsville died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, aged about 69 years. The son of William and Nancy Lowman of Armstrong Twp., he was born and raised on the homestead about a mile and a half North of Jacksonville. He was married to Rachel Black and to this union five children were born, of whom three with the widow, survive. In his earlier years he followed railroading and while an employee he lost an arm. For some time his health has been failing and his demise was not unexpected. The funeral will be held at his late residence on Thursday, August 18, at 2:30 P.M. with the Rev. Dr. R. E. McClure officiating. Interment will follow in the Blairsville cemetery. ============================================== Indiana weekly Messenger Thursday May 23, 1929 Edwin H. Lowman Funeral services were held on Friday at the home for Edwin H. Lowman aged 48 years, of Blairsville, who died on Tuesday evening of last week at the Indiana Hospital. The deceased, who was a locomotive engineer, was stricken with an acute attack of Bright's disease while at the throttle on the Saturday previous to his death, and at Torrance station he was unable to continue the run. He was taken to his home in a semiunconscious condition and later brought here to the hospital. He was one of the efficient and trusted engineers of the Pennsylvania railroad and during his service of 27 years took great pride in bringing his train in on time. On his last run his train was 25 minutes late in leaving Pittsburgh, but he made up 21 minutes when the train reached Torrance, where his fireman completed the run, arriving at Blairsville only four minutes behind time. The deceased enjoyed a large friendship and leaves a host of friends who mourn his sudden passing. He leaves his widow, four sons, William, Albert, Edwin and Russell, and a daughter, Mrs. Marie Rickard, also his mother, Mrs. Rachel Lowman, and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Hay, of Tarentum, and Mrs. Carrie McLaughlin of East McKeesport.
