Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZdB.2ACI/3136.2 Message Board Post: My ancestor, Hugh McMullen, was born in the old country (probably Scotland but perhaps Ireland), lived in Huntingdon Co. during his youth, moved to Franklin Co. around the time he married Nancy McMath (1790s), then migrated to Dearborn Co., In. His sons were Daniel (1800), Samuel (abt 1803), William (abt 1808), John (abt 1810) and James (1816). He also had at least one daughter named Abby (as per her marriage certificate) but whom the family called Ella. We've drawn a blank on trying to figure out which McMullen in Huntingdon Co. was his ancestor. If anyone has any ideas of how I could verefy his paternity, I'd welcome the advice.
