There was no record for Thomas Arthur at the National Archives. We need a researcher somewhere around Blair County to do more work -- and the money to hire them. We've been sick lately. The flu, et cetera. I'm working on "building" a Revolutionary War "uniform" for "Meet A Patriot" presentations. I had set out a few years ago to become an "expert" for that timeframe (hopefully without sounding egotistical or something). The timeframe is not well taught, and plenty of historical revisions has wrought a measure of humanistic ignorance about history in general. Yours, Doug
