Hard to say if they will locate and search the specific volume; they may refer you to a researcher with the county historical society if that's beyond their range of service, in their opinion. Also I forgot to mention that Hugh Lindsay simultaneously published a DAILY LOCAL NEWS along with his Semi-Weekly in the decade of the 1880s. We all feel that these should have been filmed in the course of the State Library's big microfilming project ten years or so ago, but the local end of the partnership effort did not include genealogists. There are significant other "runs" of local newspapers shelved at J. C. [more or less because no other library wanted them] and which were never microfilmed either. Needless to say, they become more brittle and subject to damage as time goes by.
