I am sure that they are relatives but the Cheney Ricketts who is your ancestor has much better records of ancestors and descendants. I believe my ancestor was William Ricketts who had land adjacent to Hezekiah Ricketts and John Roberts, Sr.. John Roberts, Sr. (born abt. 1749, died 16 Sep 1823) had a daughter (first name unknown) who married a Ricketts (first name probably William). Their daughter was Sarah who was my great, great grandmother. I have scoured every Huntingdon County record I can get my hands on about information about this William Ricketts but so far except for land records have come up empty. I am sure that there is a connection between your ancestors and mine but so far I have found no documentation. Kathy
