Are there newspapers available in Huntingdon County as early as the 1850 and 1860's? I am hoping to find two obituaries one for 1853 and one for 1861. Both deaths were in West Twp. I have a close date to the month of the death. Will appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Gayle in Kansas

There were newspapers printed during that time period. Juniata College Library has them on microfilm.
