according to Annals of Buffalo Valley Pa 1755-1855 page 255 mentions a George Knox, a tanner, whose daughter was Mrs. William Armstrong I have a William Armstrong (wife unknown) whose children were born Rachel, Thomas and Hannah were born about 1814, 1817, 1818. I am attempting to find more about the above George Knox. There is a George Knox in Allegeny County and Washington County in 1840 Crawford, Union, Washington in 1820 Montgomery, Philadelphia Counties in 1810 Armstrong County in 1800 Are any of the above counties considered in the Buffalo Valley along with Huntingdon County?
