Here are obits for 2/14/03: David John KEITH, 49, of R.R. 3, Box 356-R. Huntingdon (Henderson Township), died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kan., due to injuries he sustained in an accident. A lifetime resident of Huntingdon County, he was born Nov. 4, 1953, in Huntingdon, to John S. and Lillian J. (Grove) Keith who survive at Huntingdon, R. R. 3. He was united in marriage to the former Julie Ann Hoffmaster March 24, 1988, in Hagerstown, Md. Mrs. Keith survives in Petersburg. He is survived by one son, Jason David Keith and one daughter. Mrs. Michael (Jamie Renee) Wilson, both of Lancaster, Ohio. There are three grandchildren. Two sisters survive; Mrs. Thomas (Diane L.) Duval of Newton Hamilton, and Shirley J. Randolph of Marklesburg. He graduated from Juniata Valley High School with the Class of 1971. He served in the United States Army for over 10 years, having been stationed in Korea for a number of years and in several stateside assignments. Primarily a truck driver since his discharge from the Army, he was currently employed by Class-1 Trucking of McVeytown. Mr. Keith was an avid NHRA drag racing fan and also enjoyed local drag racing. He owned his own drag car a Pro Street car a 1978 Chevy Malibu. He enjoyed professional wrestling, motorcycles, CB and HAM radio and computers. Funeral services will he held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the Cutright-Speck Funeral Home, 207 Ridge Road, Smithfield Township, Huntingdon, with Pastor Stephen Watkins officiating. Interment will be made in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Petersburg.
