He was born 5 November 1826 and died 9 April 1895. He was the son of David Shultz and Elizabeth Beaver. Elizabeth Fouse was born 12 December 1828 and died 19 April 1890. Both are buried in the Reformed Cemetery in Marklesburg, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Theobald "Dewalt" Fouse and Nancy Shontz.
