I have a mystery Virginia Swartz that married my Uncle Charles Bartlebaugh. She was only 16 and they got their license from Indiana Co. I am looking to find it now. They married early 1930s and she was from Huntingdon Co. We have no idea how they met other than Charles worked for a trucking co. The marriage didn't last and from the WW2 papers of my Uncle he married again in 1944. In those papers I found a note from a minister asking the government what happened to Charles Bartlebaugh. He was killed in 1945. I got an idea Virginia had someone find out as it came from this Huntingdon co area. I have misplaced the papers and they have the parent's name and the town and can't remember off the top of my head. But if this story rings a bell with anyone researching the Swartz family, I would be interested to know what happened to Virginia Swartz and if there were any children--they would be my first cousins.
